The Queen of Head tilts
Adorable Ophelia visited my studio recently for some photos that we hope will help to get her adopted. She is a teeny tiny girl and is absolutely precious! She pranced into the studio like she owned the place and was very affectionate. She was curious at first and had some difficulty sitting still on the floor. The great thing about chihuahuas and other small dogs is their portability! So, up on a chair she went. Her foster parents and I talked to her and made silly noises, and she rewarded us with the best poses. She thoroughly loved all of the attention.

Did I mention portability, or maybe containability?
If you are struggling to take photos of wiggly dogs, consider putting them in something. Ophelia enjoyed being in this basket with the comfy blanket.

It takes a village
Ophelia was surrendered to Veterinary Emergency Group by her owner who could not afford her care. She was experiencing multiple seizures and episodes of temporary blindness and needed liver shunt surgery. Thankfully, Ay Chihuahua Rescue of Austin was able rescue her and have the life-saving surgery performed at Southpaw Animal Care.

Looking for her forever home
While Ophelia loves her foster home, she would prefer to be in her forever home. Her foster mom describes her as "very soft, cuddly, friendly and loves to be with humans. She loves to lick your face off with kisses and gets excited when you come home and will jump in your arms. She loves to play with toys, other dogs and is friendly. She likes walks and uses her pee pads."
